Poetry

This was the first poem I've written in my life. I wrote this in grade 7 for our poetry unit and it actually turned out to be slightly better than I would've expected. Hope you like it!

Deep Waters

Diving into the shadow water.

Obeying and following faster.

Lightly floating behind the weed.

Pleading their children to speed.

Hisssing a song to their young.

In helping the injured among.

No smooth edges on the coral reef rock.

Shimmering in the distance comes a shark.
